{"id":6130,"date":"2025-11-25T05:16:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T11:16:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.proyectomochila.org\/?p=6130"},"modified":"2025-11-25T05:17:24","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T11:17:24","slug":"mochila-project-partners-deliver-training-session-in-guatemala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.proyectomochila.org\/?p=6130&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"MOCHILA Project Partners Deliver Training Session in Guatemala"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>November 17, 2025<\/strong>, the international partners of the <strong>MOCHILA Project<\/strong> visited Guatemala to carry out a comprehensive training session on <strong>digital micro-credentials<\/strong>, organized in collaboration with <strong>Universidad Galileo<\/strong> and the <strong>University of San Carlos of Guatemala (USAC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the day, five specialized workshops were delivered to faculty members, academic authorities, and technical staff from higher education institutions. The workshops included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n<strong>The European Approach to Micro-credentials: Key Initiatives and Lessons Learned<\/strong>, led by <strong>Carlos Delgado Kloos<\/strong> and <strong>Carlos Alario Hoyos<\/strong> (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid).\n<\/li><li>\n<strong>Micro-credentials for Professional Development in Lifelong Learning<\/strong>, facilitated by <strong>Ruth Kerr<\/strong> and <strong>Valentina Reda<\/strong> (Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Napoli Federico II).\n<\/li><li>\n<strong>Criteria and Guidelines for Micro-credentials: Quality Assurance<\/strong>, delivered by <strong>\u00d3scar Jerez<\/strong> (University of Chile).\n<\/li><li>\n<strong>Institutional Transformation for Educational Innovation: The Case of Micro-credentials<\/strong>, conducted by <strong>Genaro Zavala<\/strong> (Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey).\n<\/li><li>\n<strong>From Idea to Action: Institutional Roadmap for the Implementation of Micro-credentials<\/strong>, presented by <strong>Miguel Morales<\/strong> (Universidad Galileo).\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This training session served as an important opportunity for <strong>academic exchange and capacity building<\/strong>, supporting the adoption of micro-credentials across Higher Education Institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
