{"id":6118,"date":"2025-11-25T04:52:46","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T10:52:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.proyectomochila.org\/?p=6118"},"modified":"2025-11-25T04:52:47","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T10:52:47","slug":"uc3m-unesco-chair-participates-in-the-micro-gear-event-in-armenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.proyectomochila.org\/?p=6118&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"UC3M UNESCO Chair Participates in the Micro-GEAR Event in Armenia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On June 3, 2025, <strong>Prof. Carlos Delgado Kloos<\/strong>, Director of the UNESCO Chair <em>\u201cScalable Digital Education for All\u201d<\/em> at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), together with <strong>Dr. Carlos Alario Hoyos<\/strong>, Deputy Director of the Chair, participated in the event organized by the <strong>Micro-GEAR Project<\/strong> at Yerevan State University, Armenia (educate.uc3m.es).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During their intervention, the representatives of the Chair shared experiences on the evaluation and articulation of micro-credentials, presenting results obtained in the European region and comparing them with approaches used in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event provided a valuable space for dialogue on quality criteria, institutional recognition, and best practices in the implementation of micro-certifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This participation strengthens the international collaboration of the UC3M UNESCO Chair and expands its involvement in global networks for digital education. It also represents a significant contribution to the <strong>MOCHILA Project<\/strong>, as it enables the exchange of models and assessment tools that can be adapted and used to enrich micro-credential frameworks within higher education institutions in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MOCHILA<\/strong> is a project funded by the European Commission aimed at developing a reference framework for the design and issuance of micro-credentials in Higher Education Institutions across Latin America and the Caribbean.
