At the Santiago and Santo Domingo campuses of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic, a training session was held consisting of five workshops delivered by the partner institutions of the MOCHILA project.
The workshops conducted were:
The European Approach to Micro-credentials: Key Initiatives and Lessons Learned;
Micro-credentials for Professional Development in Lifelong Learning;
Criteria and Guidelines for Micro-credentials: Quality Assurance; Institutional
Transformation for Educational Innovation: The Case of Micro-credentials;
From Idea to Action: Institutional Roadmap for the Implementation of Micro-credentials.
This series of workshops represents an initial step toward raising awareness and providing training for the adoption of micro-credentials in Higher Education Institutions across Latin America and the Caribbean, promoting the exchange of experiences, capacity building, and the development of a shared ecosystem for the recognition of learning.
