Representatives of the MOCHILA Project from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Universidad Galileo presented their work at IEEE EDUCON 2025, an international event of great relevance focused on educational innovation and research in the field of engineering.
The conference took place from April 22 to 25, 2025, at the prestigious Queen Mary University of London (England), under the central theme: “Sustaining Educational Excellence in Engineering: Generative AI in Enhancing Critical Thinking and Active Learning.” This edition offered an ideal space for the exchange of experiences, the strengthening of academic collaboration networks, and inspiration for new joint projects.
During the event, Dr. Carlos Delgado Kloos from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid presented his work titled “How Challenges Become Opportunities: Micro-Credentials and Artificial Intelligence.” Dr. Héctor Amado also presented the research conducted by the GES team of Universidad Galileo. His work, “Ethical AI in Education: A Proposed Model for Responsible Integration,” proposes a model for the responsible integration of artificial intelligence in education, aligned with institutional strategies for promoting academic integrity and the ethical use of generative AI.
This conference, which brings together experts from around the world, provided an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge and experiences.
